Terms and Conditions

 

Guesthouse Policy / House Rules:​

These Guesthouse Policy/House Rules are considered as part of our reservation agreement with you.  As our guest, by reading and payment made you are agreeing to abide by all of our Guesthouse Policy/House Rules, terms and conditions, and procedures. Our Guesthouse Policy/House Rules may change from time to time, so please check back often. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions. If you have any questions, please contact us before making a reservation.

 

Rates:​

1) Rates quoted are based on the period and number of pax provided and may differ if there are any changes or amendments.

2) Rates are not valid for additional pax , events or group bookings.

3) Room rates do not include public space / facilities , event spaces. Refer to BGH for further information.

Check-In / Check-Out:​

1) Check-in time is 3.00pm and check-out time is 12.00pm. If check-in / check- out time outside of office hour , guest may opt for self check-in. Self check-in guide will be provided prior to arrival 

2) Should arrivals before 3.00pm be required, it will only be allocated / confirmed subject to  availability and hourly rate charges.

3) For guaranteed room availability, the room must be fully paid 5 days prior to check-in date.

4) Late check-out (till 6.00pm) is subject to availability and chargeable at 50% of the room rate. 100% of the room rate will apply if check-out is done after 6.00pm.

Early Departure / No Show:​

In the event of unfulfilled room nights (entire duration of stay) after confirmation of room reservation, the full day room rate of the unfulfilled room nights will be charged as an Early Departure / No Show.

Rooming List:​

A confirmed detailed group rooming list must be submitted to the undersigned sales personnel at least seven (7) days prior to the group’s scheduled arrival date to quicken the check-in process as well as confirming the delegated room type to each respective guest or delegates. Rooms assigned are based on BGH prerogative and suitability - any request which results in additional room / lesser occupancy in which may be subject to additional charges following standard room rates.

Payment:​

BGH prefers cashless payment. Upon your confirmation a deposit equivalent 50% of the total amount is to be paid (unless otherwise agreed to be waived by BGH). Balance payment must be settled 5 days prior to the check-in date. Otherwise, all bookings made would be automatically released. Any additional charges are to be settled in full either by QR Pay, cash or any payment method acceptable by BGH.

Kindly provide a copy of the bank-in slip or receipt to the undersigned sales personnel for our reference if the payment was bank in via online transaction or ATM transaction.

Deposits And Guarantees:

There shall be deposit required for individual room as well as group reservation. All deposits and guarantees are refundable should there be no missing items, no damages nor losses.Conversely, security 

​

Postponement Policy:​

Postponed can be considered with a minimum of seven (7) days prior to the arrival date and subject to availability and BGH management approval. The guest shall notify BGH accordingly and the total amount of deposit paid will be credited to the postponed date.

​

Cancellation Policy:​

1) The client shall notify BGH in writing of any cancellation of the room reservation.

2) For eight (8) days or more from the arrival date, a penalty charge of an amount equal to 50% of the total deposit will be imposed.

3) From seven (7) days prior to the arrival date or function date, a penalty charge of an amount equal to 100% of the total estimated amount of the function and room reservation will be imposed (No refund)

Guest Registration And Acceptance/Denying Entry:

We require valid contact information from the guest making the reservations including first and last name, address, phone number and car registration number. BGH has the right to deny entry and refuse service to individuals based on past behavior or conduct during previous stays/records. Other reasons for denying entry include (but not limited to) : misconduct, unpaid bills, fraudulent activity, suspicious / criminal activity and violation of Terms and Conditions.

 

Muslim Friendly Guesthouse:​

BGH provides services in accordance with the Shariah principles. No alcohol, drugs and illegal substances , non-halal food preparation / storage, dogs, nor any prohibited goods are allowed. BGH does not condone unmarried couples and immoral activities ie gambling, sex trafficking etc ; BGH strictly serves Halal food and drinks (prepared by Muslim vendors). Should any non-muslim guest like to have non-halal meal , guests may request for dedicated utensils and cutleries for easy cleaning and purification exercise by BGH staff. Holy book quran can be provided upon request / subject to availability.

No In-Room Party:​

BGH enforces a “No In-Room Party Policy” to ensure a pleasant stay and to prevent any damages/losses.In the event of a disturbance, one warning will be given to reduce noise. If this warning is not followed, the guest will forfeit all fees and must leave the BGH property immediately.

Smoking Policy:​

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the ballroom, function room, dining area, washrooms, lobby and any non-smoking labelled area in the guesthouse. Smoking inside rooms or non-designated areas may result in the forfeiture of security deposit and additional cleaning fees.

​

Damages:​​

1) The guest shall be responsible for any and all damages and breakages caused to the BGH’s property during the event by any of the client’s guests or delegates.

2) For if any damages and breakages occurred, the cost of rectification of any damages will be quoted by the BGH management and the guest or appointed person in charge will make the cost of rectification immediately after thorough checking by the BGH management.

Losses/Accidents:​​

1) The Client acknowledges the BGH cannot be responsible for the safekeeping of the Client’s, guests’ or delegates’ belongings, equipment, supplies, written material, merchandise or any other valuable items left in rooms or any other area of the guesthouse.

2) Accordingly, the guest acknowledges that it will be responsible to provide security of any such above-mentioned items and hereby assumes the responsibility of loss thereof.

3) It is the responsibility of the guest to notify their respected companions or delegates that no valuable items should be left in rooms or any other area of the guesthouse as a preventive measure.

4) BGH will not be responsible for any accident (example accident involving pool,stairs, robbery etc.) nor any injury while staying.

Others:​

1) Moving and relocating of furniture is NOT allowed.  Make sure all items and equipment are placed in their original place before you leave.

2) For safety, security and housekeeping reasons, BGH reserves the right to enter the room with guests’ permission.

3) Image and video usage and rights : BGH have the right to take or use photos or group videos to be used as marketing material only limited to Website, Booklet or flyers,Social Media Usage Like Facebook and Instagram as well as Electronic Media such as Television Media advertisement.

4) Any group activity which requires the use of common area, common facilities & event space must obtain BGH approval - charges may apply.
